Vallejo Premium Varnish Spray Satin (400ml)

Water-based acrylic varnishes featuring a new, fast-drying formula and an acrylic resin of exceptional hardness and durability. They protect painted models from dust, scratches, dirt, and moisture. Acrylic varnish should never be applied until the paint is completely dry; a waiting period of at least 24 hours is recommended. The varnish should be applied in thin layers, spaced about four hours apart. Brushes and other tools should be kept moist while working.

Acrylic paints typically dry quickly, though this depends heavily on temperature, humidity, light, and airflow, as well as the surface to which the product is applied. When applied to an absorbent substrate, the water evaporates rapidly. On non-porous surfaces—such as acetate, metal, or plastic—the water content must evaporate through the paint layer or gel itself. If these products are applied in thick layers to create relief or texture, complete drying may take weeks.
